Sitting Room
The sitting room and adjoining conservatory are perfect for cards, games or watching the TV. There’s a coal fire there, and we’ll leave you all the necessary coal, wood and kindling to get you going, though you may need some top up fuel from one of the garages around Hay.
The sitting room has two sofas seating three each, and a couple of easy chairs, though there’s enough space to pull in others from other rooms if you are a large group. This room is the only one in the house with a carpet, which makes it insulated and extra warm, though we do ask that you take care not to drag in mud or worse from outside. Please also ensure that you protect the fire from spitting and use the guard.
We have a DVD player, and small collection, video & two TV's, one of which is a large flat screen with multiple connections for gaming, USB's etc. It has freeview and about 30 channels in English and Welsh.
