Welcome to Swynnerton
Swynnerton is situated around 5 minutes' walk from the centre of the book town of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its literary Hay Festival and its position, nestling in the middle of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons national parks.
Swynnerton offers very roomy self catering accommodation in Hay for up to 10 people in 4 double bedrooms with one twin. Whatever your interests, whether books, hill walking, mountain climbing, canoeing or bird watching, Hay offers an excellent base from which to explore the region. There's always a wealth of things to do in Hay, with a superb range of quality pubs and restaurants within easy reach. With The Globe, and the soon to be opened night-time venue at Booth's book shop, there are also a couple of late night venues, offering live music, DJs, comedy and theatre all year round.
Without exception our Hay self catering guests appear to have had a lot of fun. It's ideal for a range of users: from large family get-togethers, birthday parties, ramblers or book reading clubs or just groups of friends enjoying a break away in Hereford. There's enough space for a couple of families to stay there together without getting on each other's nerves.
